Louis Vuitton is one of the longest existing luxury brand in the world, founded in 1854 Paris.

With creative director Marc Jacobs, who started working for the brand in 1997, the luxury brand really exploded to a fashion emporium. Marc Jacobs started some very interesting and beautiful collaborations with artists like Stephen Sprous, Yayoi Kusuma and Takashi Murakami.

I think we can all name some of the brand’s model names, such as the Louis Vuitton Speedy, the Keepall, the Alma or the Pochette. All pieces we love and sell at Vintasje! A fun fact is that the populair Speedy bag is the first bag ever made by the fashion brand. And it’s also one of our favourites!

Another piece we absolutely love is the Louis Vuitton Monceau bag. It kind of looks like the Pochette Métis now days, however this one is a real vintage beauty! The Monceau bag is also one of the oldest classic pieces from the French Fashion House. It was first introduced in 1986, originally only crafted of the house’s iconic monogram on coated canvas. The Monceau was designed with a school-satchel resemblance, with a sophisticated briefcase character.
